Yesterday At The Convention
Published June 15th, 2007Day one of Second Convention is good an over. It went over extremely well, starting in a fun way with Pixel Sumo. Alex Fitzsimmons won the exhibition bouts and got a 300L prize and a ZAi-Gear Helo Platform; Clipse Araw came in a close second and won a ZAi-Gear Helo Avatar. Both showed great vigor and we hope to see them at future Pixel Sumo matches.
The day continue with the Slebrity Roast of Wildefire Walcott, many friends and loved ones were in attendance to show Wildfire just how much they truly loved her (Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge). Finally the convention rounded out with the Afterparty on Tripod Beach, DJed by Vivianne Draper, it went on for almost an hour more than scheduled because people were having so much fun and Viv was playing such hot beats.
We’ll see you today at day two of Second Convention. We’re starting off with a panel discussion on online censorship at 3:00pm followed by the Variants Fashion show as presented by AMA, and closing with a lecture by Kalel Venkman of the JLU on security in Second Life.
